I began my floral journey in 2007 when I purchased the very same floral shop that designed my own wedding flowers. I was determined to create beautiful things with little concern on the minimal profit I was making, and in doing so, I found my calling. Exploring color palettes and working with consumers to help them create floral gifts they were proud to give, and my favorite, bridal bouquets that brides were elated to carry.
After 13 years in the industry, a new chapter began to form, as I uncovered my true passion for being a wedding and special event florist. I sold the flower shop to a trusted employee and began flowering weddings and events exclusively from my home studio. I love connecting with people to uncover their sense of what is beautiful, and working to create exactly that for their special day! With my experience, I can offer direction on how to navigate the planning process so it feels less like work and more like fun. Yes, Emily Rose is my real name--a question I get a lot so let's just get that one out of the way:) When I am not busy flowering weddings and events I enjoy spending time with my family with a good cup of coffee in hand. I love a challenge and feel most at peace when I am doing things for others. I enjoy decorating, have a strong passion for a perfectly curated wardrobe and appreciate a lovely dinner party.
